Job Overview:
Dependable Designs Ltd are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working Traffic Marshall/Gateman to join a busy commercial site in Epsom. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with site experience to support a fast-paced construction project with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the movement of vehicles, plant, and machinery on site
- Maintain safe access and egress routes for all personnel and vehicles
- Communicate clearly with drivers, plant operators, and site management
- Ensure all lifting, reversing, and manoeuvring operations are carried out safely
- Monitor site activity and proactively identify potential hazards
- Support site teams with general labouring duties when required
- Maintain excellent timekeeping and follow daily schedules
Requirements:
- Previous experience on a construction or commercial site is desirable
- Valid Traffic Marshal training and CSCS card
- Reliability, hard-working, punctual, and ability to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude, communication skills and a very good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Physically fit and capable of manual tasks; must have PPE

Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning/labouring position
- Moving and distributing materials, tools, and equipment
- Site cleaning and tidying, ensuring a safe working environment
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Erecting and dismantling temporary fencing, barriers or signage
- Always following site health and safety rules
- Supporting supervisors and assisting skilled trades as needed
- Ability to operate power tools for light demolition works
Requirements:
- Previous experience on a construction or commercial site preferred
- Valid CSCS card
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Good attitude, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude, communication skills and a very good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Physically fit and capable of manual tasks; must have safety boots
